About Me

So about me, well first and foremost is I hate these about me type of blurbs. So let’s keep it  short and sweet.
I’m really just starting to venture back into the world of photography to any large degree.
It was on my "To do" list in the early eighties after leaving school, continuing my studies through night school, but you know how it is……. Distraction’s, focus changes ‘hell’ life happens.  

However always skulking just below the surface, photography has been a (for want of a better word) passion of mine. With right side of my brain working overtime on occasion, I tend to be a little creative, random even. I certainly have no hesitation in  picking up a camera, paint brush or even a pen and showing you the world as I see it. Both, the good and bad.

Yes I have thrown pen to paper on occasion (you can view here), although this has taken a back seat at the moment while photography erupts back into my life. I guess I could combine the two, now that’s food for thought, maybe you should…..  "Watch this space".

Anyway, I work full time while photography and 2 children consume the balance of my time. At the moment I’m tending to sway toward portraiture, I find the subject matter (people) interesting, be it candid shots, at an event or the more posed shots,  in some obscure location. I’ll tackle most things’ how does that saying go? "I’ll try anything once".
